Terms & Conditions

1- All reservation, changes or cancellations must be received in
written form, preferably via email or fax.

2- Reservations department will receive the request and send it
back by same method, not later than 24 hours, and will include the payment time limit for Fit’s and Groups, after the specified time limit, the hotel cannot guarantee the space, if payment has not been made. Only confirmations on behalf of the hotel in
written form will be valid.

3- Additional person /same room add an extra charge of $50 USD plus taxes. Including breakfast.

4- Maximum occupancy. All units depending on the unit type and the bedding can accommodate between 2 and a maximum of 4 adult persons plus 1 or 2 children.

5- Check in/out hours, Check in 2 pm and check out 12 noon. If the clients check out after 2 pm., the Hotel will charge a 50% of one night of unit rate.

6- Children are not allowed to stay alone in a room.

7- Special request for specific units cannot be guaranteed. The
hotel guarantees the requested unit type or a superior one.

8- A booking of 6 or more units will be considered as a group and group policies will apply. 9- The hotel does not admit reservations for peak dates, made more than 12 months in advance.

10- Payment is due according to our payment policies below. Special conditions for PEAK SEASON apply. The Hotel will automatically cancel any reservation, which has not been paid, according to our payment policies.

11- NO pets are allowed, except guide dogs for the blind persons, which should be indicated in the booking request.

12- In all cases no refund for unused portion of vouchers for additional services or packages, or no shows.

Payment Policies

All reservation must be pre-paid by a credit card or bank deposit, full payment must be received 15 days before arrival of the client. Special conditions for PEAK SEASON apply, full payment must be received 30 days before arrival of the client

Groups Bookings
For group bookings 50% deposit of total amount is required in order to guarantee the reservation, 60 prior to group arrival date. Full payment must be received 30 days prior to arrival of the group. Please check below special conditions for PEAK SEASON apply! Rooming list is requested 15 days before the group arrival.

Special conditions for PEAK SEASON.
Valid for FIT and for GROUP Bookings: For X-mas, New Year’s Eve and Easter Holidays, 50% deposit of total amount is required 90 days prior to arrival of guests – Full payment must be completed 60 days before arrival of the clients.

Bank Deposits
Deposits can be made by wire transfer to the name of EL TRINUFO DEL MEDITERRANEO S.A. at following bank accounts:

Please send a copy of the bank document stating payment to our fax (506) 2240 1919 please include name and number of party, check-in date and name of the agency.

CREDIT CARDS
Following credit cards are accepted: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS
Credit cards will be accepted to guarantee a reservation, if the voucher is signed by the cardholder.
Whenever credit cards are used for payments of commissionable rates, the credit card commission will be deducted from the approved commission for the Agency or Corporation.

LAST MINUTE OR SHORT NOTICE RESERVATIONS:

1. For bookings received 15 to 9 days before clients’ arrival,
payment must be completed the latest 3 days after the
reservation request. For bookings received 8 or less days
before clients arrival, payment must be completed before the
following 48 hours

2. Cancellations are accepted without any charge before payment is received. Any cancellation after that term will have the
penalty of 100% of the total amount of the booking

Cancellations Policies
Following penalties will apply when cancellations are made:

IMPOSSIBILITY OF PERFORMANCE / FORCE MAJEURE It is agreed that The Hotel Resort will be relieved of its obligations in the event of acts of nature, fire, flood, strikes, lockout, and order of government authorities or any reasonable circumstances beyond its control.
